Who We Are

Twitter’s Information Quality efforts are on the cutting edge of a wide range of issues affecting the internet today — from combating spam and computational propaganda, to building new tools to keep the world informed during major events. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team is looking for an experienced, proactive Information Quality Policy Specialist to collaborate with teams across the company to develop policies, enforcements, and product solutions to tackle some of the biggest challenges in tech.

You’ll be responsible for researching, drafting, and leading the implementation of policies covering a variety of critical issues impacting user trust, including spam, automation, and fake accounts. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and design to drive improvements in Twitter’s search, trends, and relevance systems — and advocate for the user by understanding, predicting, and communicating the projected impacts of new product changes across Twitter’s diverse user base. And you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for high-level Information Quality escalations, including leading rapid response efforts by teams across the company to prevent the abuse of Twitter’s platform around critical public events.
