Brief Description

LinQuest is seeking an Information Assurance Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington, MA. You will join a team that supports advanced prototype systems and technologies for DoD applications. Team activities will include the transition of leading edge technology for ensuring the security and resiliency of next-generation mission-critical systems. You will be supporting the development of advanced prototypes ensuring the designs are compliant with security requirements and supporting the NSA certification process.


  • Support the Information Assurance (IA) design and implementation of secure communications architectures for software controlled radio applications
  • Analyze NSA and MIL-STD requirements in coordination with system developers.
  • Develop required IA documentation compliant with DoD and NSA requirements
  • Support security verification testing required for government certification.


Required Skills:

  • Developing security verification test plans and procedures
  • Understanding cyber security requirements and impact on software and hardware designs
  • Experience in certification and accreditation of communication systems.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with DoD system development
  • Experience with software and documentation development tools

Required Experience:

  • BS in EE, CS, Math, or Physic
  • 5 years relevant work experience
  • IA documentation experience

Preferred Experience:

  • MS in EE, CS, Math, or Physics
  • 10 years relevant work experience
  • Experience with wireless communications systems and communications theory
  • Experience working with NSA
  • Active SECRET clearance
