As a Solutions Architect for Google Cloud's Manufacturing and Industrial vertical, you will work side-by-side with strategic Google Cloud customers to design, engineer and scale a new portfolio of industry offerings. You'll leverage your hands on development and cloud computing expertise, bringing together the full scope of Google Cloud horizontal and vertical products to create compelling offerings for customers.You will also support implementations with early marquee customers on the path to global scale. This role will have a specific focus on Industrial IoT, where cloud will bring to life connected products enabling our businesses to deliver more intelligent products to their customers.

You will partner with Product teams on portfolio integration strategy, and support implementations of Google Cloud Manufacturing, Industrial and Transportation products and solutions directly with customers, sharing best practices, providing guidance around architectures, data migration, capacity planning, and more.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI.
• Software development experience in C/C , C#, Java, Python or Go.
• Experience with Cloud compute platforms such as Kubernetes or Cloud Functions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems for Industrial or Consumer IoT solutions.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• - Provide product domain expertise in supporting the technical relationship with Google's customers through product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the enablement of integrations allowing for a full deployment of products managing manufacturing data in Google Cloud. - Create and develop packaged solution offerings to complement product offerings. - Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments, recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution. - Own the technical relationship with Google's customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources. - Travel to customer sites, conferences and other related events as necessary.
