Job Description:

TrueCar is seeking an Industry Marketing Manager to lead and execute a variety of B2B marketing initiatives that drive demand for the company's core products and new solutions for automotive dealer customers. This individual will have a broad marketing skill set which includes traditional, digital, sales enablement and product marketing.

An exceptional industry marketing manager will keep projects in alignment across multiple departments, while ensuring quality and effectiveness. This position also requires a definitive point of view on marketing strategy and the experience to actively participate in planning, creative production, and budgeting, as well as measurement of the performance for each project.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple work streams, meeting tight deadlines, and managing initiatives across cross-functional teams. The role reports to the Director of Industry Marketing.


  • Develop, implement, and track marketing campaigns such as print, email, social, video, digital, and events to drive brand awareness, lead generation and retention
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (e.g. product, marketing, research and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
  • Develop promotional launch plans for new products including naming, value prop messaging, internal/external communication strategy and sales tools/collateral
  • Partner with research and analytics teams to leverage customer data to optimize account-based-marketing tactics
  • Leverage marketing and sales data in Salesforce to maximize marketing and sales efficiency
  • Manage content marketing strategy including the development of infographics, white papers, etc. to drive traffic and generate leads for the sales team
  • Track, analyze, and measure key performance indicators to determine efficiency of messaging and budget
  • Lead, develop and launch social campaigns for audience cultivation, lead generation and community engagement
  • Drive the project management of all creative initiatives through concept to launch; including planning, design, production and approval processes


  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field
  • Automotive industry and B2B experience a plus
  • Understanding of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Understanding of marketing technology tools and account-based-marketing tactics
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
