Job Description

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist who will be the Facility Security Officer and Lead Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for the Oklahoma City site.  The selected candidate will lead and execute Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

 Primary Responsibilities: 

• Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action.

• Communicates results to security management and customers.

• Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

• Communicates results to security management and customers.

• Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.

• Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs.

• Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.

• Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.

• Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.

• Communicates results to security management and customers. Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Qualifications

 

Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory.  Much of the work at The Boeing Company is of a classified nature and many positions require a security clearance, the granting of which is at the discretion of government authorities. A final clearance is mandatory for this position prior to start.  If your final Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirement is not granted, in a time frame established by program management this offer will be withdrawn.  Once your clearances are granted, if they are not maintained, the result may be reassignment, reclassification, or termination of employment.

 

 

 

Basic Required Qualifications

  • This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Must include Security Clearance Level, investigation type and investigation date clearly on resume.
  • More than 3 years working with the National Industrial Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)
  • Experience working with the DOD 5205.07 Manuals

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years security work experience or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience speaking in front of others and giving presentations
  • Experience composing and editing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Typical Education and Experience:

 

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
