Job Title: Industrial Engineering Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Compensation: $120K base

Education Requirements: BSIE

Job Description:

This position is responsible for planning, development and execution of all engineering to multiple high-volume, mechanized distribution centers. The Manager is responsible for the direction and management of a corporate engineering staff tasked with the development and implementation of all engineering and company driven initiatives including: engineered labor standard development and documentation, network and facility design, process improvement and innovation and otherstrategic initiatives.

Job Specifics:

Responsible for developing and maintaining engineered labor standards and pay for performance system

8+ years in IndustrialEngineering (5+ years of IE management)

Successful project management of large-scale projects involving cross functional teams. Preferred project experience includes management of large DC construction, consolidation, move or start-ups; planning and execution of large capital projects; development of project justification and project scope.

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time 

Distributionnetwork design

Engineering labor standards development and implementation

Ability to effectively train others

Success in developing teams and individual talent

Proven ability to quickly grasp subject matter and understand the big picture

Ability and passion to independently and proactively identify opportunities that generate bottom line value

Direct to consumer experience in a high volume, growth-oriented organization

The Ideal Candidate:  

BS IndustrialEngineering or similar required

Graduate Degree (MS, MBA, etc.) preferred

AutoCAD, Crystal Reports and Manhattan PkMS

In-depth knowledge of distribution systems and automation; a thorough understanding of conveyors, controls, and material handling equipment

Proven leadership abilities in the area of Lean Methodology, Black Beltpreferred

Expert in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
