Job Description: The Industrial Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical input lines that comes into the rear of the machine, goes through circuit protection, transformers that reduces the voltage for branch and feeder lines that will support the lights, fans, air conditioners, etc. and the maintenance of medium to high voltage electrical switchgears, transformers, motor controllers and 3 Phase power systems.   Responsibilities:

  • Apply standards for medium to high voltage routing and safety.
  • Maintenance of 3 Phase wiring/power supply (i.e. 15KV, medium to high voltage)
  • Maintain OPC, CAN, Ethernet, profibus and profinet communication networks
  • Maintain NFPA 70E Standards
  • Integration of PLC’s and motor drives
  • Modification and maintenance of Siemens Electric Drives
  • Adhere to the standards of The National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA)
  • Converting AC to DC power

  Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience conducting maintenance of 3 Phase wiring/power supply (i.e. 15KV, medium to high voltage)
  • 3+ years’ AutoCAD or Visio Schematic experience
  • Siemens 7 – 1500 PLC programming (utilizing TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) portal) is like to have
  • Familiar with both PLC hardware and software is desired

  Skills:

  • Experience with Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT), Variable Frequency Drive (VPD)
  • Ability to integrate PLC’s and motor drives
  • Knowledgeable and proven track record using interfaces & SCADA
  • Integration of PLC’s and motor drives
  • Maintenance of 3 Phase wiring/power supply (i.e. 15KV, medium to high voltage)
