Your Role As a HealthStreamer

Position Summary

Our Capacity Management Professional Services team is looking for an Implementation Consultant, which is a key implementation resource, responsible for analyzing customer business requirements for ourScheduling and Capacity Management solutions.

The Implementation Consultant is also responsible for working with other key resources on the team to meet project delivery milestones. Our most successful candidates have a strong technology background, including previous experience in the training of software solutions in the healthcare environment, primarily in hospitals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work with the Professional Services team members and customers to deliver our Scheduling and Capacity Management Software Solutions. The candidate must be self-motivated and proactively consult on best practice methodology, configuration design and build activities to ensure customer success. Experience with healthcare staff scheduling software is required.

Implementation and training of customers on Scheduling and Capacity Management solutions for new and existing clients in a timely and effective manner

Becoming a Scheduling and Capacity Management solutions Subject Matter Expert

Collaborating with the Scheduling and Capacity Management solution teams to help define course structure, content, and delivery methods to produce a high-quality, interactive training experience that aligns with the company’s business strategy

Facilitate client workshops, either onsite or remotely, with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise software in a client-facing and/or team leadership role

Experience in gathering system requirements, designing, testing, training, defining procedures and implementing solutions on a global scale under strict business deadlines

Experience implementing industry best practices to meet client requirements

Ability to work independently and run multiple concurrent assignments

Ability to project manage

Manage stakeholder expectations, demonstrating thought leadership and the ability to influence at all organizational levels

Create Business Requirements and Technical Documentation resulting from mapping sessions to provide proposed solutions for client approval

Consult with customers on system configuration, specific features and system processes and procedures

Ensure quality, by overseeing accuracy, completeness and compliance of the project deliverables

Guide and direct the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the projects in hand

Support pre-sales activities such as proposals and scope of work writing, client presentations, etc.

Participate in internal initiatives. Develop and assist in the roll-out of processes for efficiency and improvement

Workacross functional teams to stay current with rapidly-evolving enhancements to the solution

Build relationships across teams to meet goals

Work with projects managers to align project milestones and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

What You Will Need to be Successful

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required

Minimum of 5 years in healthcare IT industry with focus on development/setup of clinical healthcare applications, such as scheduling, acuity, budgeting, time and attendance, human resource and their interfaces is preferred

Skills and Abilities Required

Experience in implementation and training of software solutions in a healthcare environment with direct responsibility of providing software solution training to hospital professionals and executives

Ability to comfortably and confidently present to large groups of 20+ people using a variety of delivery methods, for lengthy periods of time

RN or hospital operations experience recommended

Strong technical aptitude

Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking to strategies, practices, and problem resolution and troubleshoot system issues

Ability to design and configure the best solution for customer requirements

Ability to train and develop policy and procedure documentation

Ability to work on a dynamic, customer-focused team

Capability to exercise mature judgement

Communicate with customer in a timely, professional manner and escalate issues to the Project Manager, as necessary

Conduct requirement assessment workshops with the customer team members and stakeholders

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences throughout the company and customer executives

Excellent customer relationship management and business acumen

Knowledgeable of and understands common implementation principles and lifecycle

Proper understanding of payroll procedures, pay policies, leave and benefit policies

Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of individuals in a positive manner
