Implementation Consultant (Global trade software) at Thomson Reuters in Saint Paul, MN

Are you a self-motivated Implementation Consultant looking to join our growing Professional Services team. We’re looking for smart, creative, individuals to work directly with our customers and implement our enterprise software for global corporations.

About this Role

As an Implementation Consultant

• Interact with client trade and technology professionals.
• Perform technical roles on small to medium sized projects, leading engagements alongside a team of resources
• Engage with other key teams within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end to end Global Trade solutions
• Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
• Assist Project team to ensure all Global Trade related requirements are met
• Explain ONESOURCE Global Trade related issues/problems and solutions to Trade & technical staff
• Ensure all trade related requirements are met
• Learn integration concepts and deliver solutions for related issues/problems and solutions to non-trade & technical staff
• Work with clients to translate their trade and supply chain policies into ONESOURCE solutions
• Configure ONESOURCE Global Trade Management
• Complete tasks with limited supervision

To be our Implementation Consultant, you will likely:

• 3 - 4 years consulting experience
• Exposure to Global Trade or Supply Chain Businesses, Compliance and/or Trade Filing processes
• Experience with process analysis, design & mapping
• Experience Implementing Enterprise Software including Cloud Solutions and third-party applications
• Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and know how to share information professionally and concisely
• Up to 25% travel (depending on Covid safe travel conditions)
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in working with computers and standard business software like Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to be a self-starter
• Creative problem-solving skills & motivated to drive innovation
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment

Highly Desirable Skills/Experience

• Multilingual
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts
• Experience with integrating or working with third party enterprise trade products (e.g. ONESOURCE Global Trade, Integration Point, Descartes, etc.) is highly desirable
• Technical is highly desirable
• SQL scripting
• Object Oriented Programming
• Microsoft .NET Framework
• C# and/or VB.NET
• Ability to Relocate if needed

Education Required

• Higher Education Degree or Diploma – Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business or Computer Science preferred
