Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (part of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Capital business) provides inventory financing solutions, service and intelligence through in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to customers. As a leading provider in specialized financing and servicing solutions, CDF delivers when it comes to helping facilitate the manufacturing, distribution and sale of products across a variety of industries from Powersports, Marine and Recreational Vehicles, to Outdoor Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Technology, and Electronics & Appliances.
This position will be part of CDF’s Customer Strategy Office which partners with sales management to improve commercial excellence framework and accelerate strategic growth. Position will support globally on business initiatives. Initial focus is on effective use of CRM (Salesforce.com) and business analytics to achieve sales goals and key growth initiatives.
This role is critical for the successful deployment, adoption, and management of CRM and business analytics platforms globally. This role supports end users with on-boarding, training, support, business requirements and prioritization, change management, best-practice sharing, escalation management, risk mitigation, communication management, liaison with IT among others.
Work extensively with integrated origination ecosystems to ensure all transactions are processed timely. Liaise various IT and operation teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. Identify and initiate processes and system enhancement initiatives to improve origination ecosystems and processes.
Champion line of business requirements to technology product road-map, maintain data quality oversight of the systems and platforms, and ensure alignment with operational risk and compliance initiatives.
Work with sales and marketing teams to establish best practices in relation to our products and technology configuration team members to support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to all applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
