As a Technical Implementations  Programming Professional you will be working withfinancial industry specialists to implement emerging technologies while improving business processing.  More specifically, you will provide conversion support to banks and credit unions by creating mapping specifications for moving source data into DNA, creating stored procedures, and performing QA analysis to ensure that the data is accurate.

  • Leverage your database analysis, programming, and process management skills
  • Utilize a unique blend of SQL programming and client consultation skills
  • Be a part of a fast paced, ever changing environment, running multiple data programming projects for client implementations, mergers, card conversions, and online banking
  • Collaborate with team members in all areas of implementation – project management, application consultants, operations consultants, field technicians, etc.
  • Interview stakeholders, gather and analyze data, study data and business problems to partner in solutions
  • Use Oracle SQL to code conversion objects moving data from source to DNA, prepare reports, and scrub data
  • Write and execute Oracle SQL code statements
  • Program, test, debug, and review the field level conversion requirements and verify converted data, balancing requirements and any reporting
  • Partner with clients and internal associates to develop software requirements and functional specifications to turn into code for data conversions and fixes
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for various stage in the conversion process

Required Qualifications:

  • Current experienceworking with Core Banking processes
  • 3-5 years’ experience operating, developing within, or reporting on Fiserv DNA
  • Experience working with Oracle databases and Oracle SQL programming tools
  • 5+ years of hands-on financial industry experience in Information Technology,  loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, interface development, or CRM systems
  • Ability to execute on time-sensitive project deliverables
  • Ability to write, execute, and optimize  Oracle SQL and/or MS SQL code statements
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as discussing business and technical topics to capture technical requirements
  • Strong verbal communication skills including oral and presentation skills
  • 5-7 years’ experienceworking with a project team, understanding process, terminology, and the expectations of project deliverables and timelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship development skills
  • Experience in conversions or product implementations involving heavy data analysis, mapping and manipulation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and under strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to train and/or mentor in technical subject areas
  • Experience working remotely and at client locations
  • Bachelor’s degree; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • PL/SQL or SQL experiencerequired
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Oracle SQL programming experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • A self-motivated individual willing to work in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, able to resolve complex technical issues through research, analysis, and testing
  • Creativity in identifying and implementing programming solutions to meet business requirements

Work Environment:

Remote (telecommute) position
