Premier California law firm seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Law savvy Attorney with 4-6 years of experience (JD class of 2012 - 2014 ) to join its expanding Los Angeles office.

Candidate will have the following: 4-6 years of experience as an immigration attorney within a law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; English & Spanish fluency ; Demonstrated ability to build and manage caseload effectively ; Experience preparing diverse immigration applications, including removal defense & family-based immigration petitions.

Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired) ; Strong research, oral, verbal & written communication skills ; California Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Representing non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals

-Manage workload of cases, effectively prioritize deadlines.

-Visiting and conducting intake with detained individuals at centers.

-Ability to explain sophisticated immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.

-Preparing diverse immigration applications, including removal defense & family-based immigration petitions.

-Reviewing immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments.

-Presenting to and working withlaw enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.

-Developing strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.

-Meeting with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy.

-Providing legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits.

-Preparing and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.
