Job Description:

  • SailPoint Identity IQ application integration hands on experience
  • Application Onboarding:
  • work intake, requirements gathering, initiative scoping, tracking
  • Configuration of applications into the IAM service catalog for request, configuring the application in Okta SSO when applicable
  • Status reports: provide regular summary of accomplishments and work outstanding
  • The IAM BA will also support the team in a data analyst role, collecting data from various sources to find the answers to questions
  • Ability to perform application integration work as it pertains to identity and access management
  • Experience working with the business customer to gather the business requirements while carefully setting realistic expectations
  • Provide assistance to the business and the application teams on queries regarding login, federated SSO, user provisioning
  • On-boarding applications
  • Hand-off to operations team once on-boarded
  • Higher level tool-set resource / developer
  • Monitor the health & availability of the IAM system
  • Get acquainted with the system to look for ways to improve the performance of the IAM system and its operational efficiency
  • Provide weekly/ monthly status reports on the progress of IAM support activities indicating the open issues, milestones achieved planned activities etc.
  • Leadership for off shore Business Analysts
  • Familiarity with diagraming techniques to outline business processes (e.g. UML, Swim Lane, Sequence Diagram)
  • Understanding of Identity Management. It is more important to have technical depth using Identity Management


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst within a regulated environment (2+ years)
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst (5+ years)
  • Experience working with SailPoint Identity IQ (3+ years)
  • Experience configuring applications for request in an IAM tool (2+ years)
  • Experience with Single Sign-On, configuring applications for SSO (1+ year). Commercial product such as Okta or Ping preferred
  • Experience using a data analysis tool such as Excel (3+ years) and visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI (1+ year)
  • Ability to extract data from a SQL or LDAP store with limited assistance
  • Experience working with a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework, describing documentation requirements and gates through the development process
