Performs independent, objective, Information Systems audits and consulting services, and supplies management at all levels with objective evaluations, appraisals and recommendations concerning the areas reviewed.
This position requires a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship to obtain.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science or a related field, OR
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Master's degree in any related field.
Required Work Experience
Three years of Information Systems auditing experience.
One year of programming and/or system analysis can substitute for one year of auditing experience.
Five years of Information Systems auditing experience.
Required Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Information Systems auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
Ability to identify risks and evaluate internal controls in an Information Systems environment.
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning objectives, methods and concepts.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels.
Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.
Ability to persuade, negotiate with or influence others.
Excellent analytical or critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Microsoft Office and mainframe systems skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
Knowledge of other database software, such as ACL, and automated working paper systems.
