We are looking for a highly qualified and highly motivated Hyperion / PBCS EPM Lead to work in the Financial System / Enterprise Application Group. The Hyperion / PBCS EPM Lead will be responsible for customizing and administering our planning and budgeting system which supports the Finance organization at J2 Global®.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands on technical experience with Hyperion, Essbase, Planning and/or PBCS, with at least one full cycle PBCS implementation.

Job Duties:

• Development and administration of PBCS / Hyperion budget and planning tool in support of the Finance organization
• Development duties include implementation of BSO/ASO cubes in PBCS environment
• Support of budget / planning income statement and workforce planning PBCS cubes
• Administration of current state PBCS environment in support of rolling budget / forecast models
• End user training, report writing (Smartview, HFR) and support
• Analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
• Build complex reports using Oracle reporting tools and other BI/Analytic tools against Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem
• Expanded role in business intelligence / analytics & data warehouse for future state reporting solution

Job Experience and Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands on functional and technical experience with Hyperion, Essbase, Planning and/or PBCS, with at least one full cycle PBCS implementation
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of financial systems and business processes, especially around planning, budgeting and forecasting
• BA / BS or Master’s Degree, preferably in Information Systems
• Oracle's Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Hyperion EPM tools (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Smartview, FDMEE, EPM Automate, other) -> development and administrative capacity
• Oracle's reporting tools including Smartview, Hyperion Financial Reports (HFR), OBIEE, BI Cloud, Oracle Analytic Cloud preferred
• Experience in automating PBCS operations using EPM Automate and Data Management (FDMEE module)
• Development experience including end-to-end implementation lifecycle to include requirements gathering, configuration, design, build, test and go-live stages
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team; work independently under minimal supervision and flexible to participate as a team member in other projects regarding Oracle Fusion ERP, BI/Analytics, Salesforce, other
• Understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow development across multiple industries
• Ability to advise users on best practices in planning, budgeting and forecasting
• BI / Analytic experience using packaged software (i.e. Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, Other) preferred
• Data warehouse experience using Oracle, Teradata, AWS, other preferred
