Northrop Grumman’s Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence located in Melbourne Florida has an immediate opening for senior level engineer specializing in Aircraft Hydraulic Systems.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to architect, develop, analyze, modify, test and trouble-shoot aircraft hydraulic systems. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to manage suppliers engaged in development of hydraulic subsystems, and demonstrated team leadership abilities. Demonstrated ability to perform hydraulic subsystem analysis and prepare build-to packages utilizing 3D modeling software is a plus.
This position will be permanently located in Melbourne, FL. Some travel is required.
Bachelor of Science degree is Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 9 years’ experience directly related to aircraft hydraulic system development and analysis, as well as proven engineering team
leadership and supplier management skills or Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 7 years of experience directly related to aircraft hydraulic system development and analysis, as well as proven engineering team leadership and supplier management skills. Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering plus a Master of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or Technical Management, or an MBA. Experience with AMESIM, NX and TeamCenter. Active DoD Secret Clearance.
