The senior HVAC engineer should be a GMP-oriented individual with experience in cleanroom operation, HVAC system design, HEPA filtration, cleanroom certification, pressure differential control, and have a background of working in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals.Member of facility response team and responsible system owner (RSO) of HVAC and cleanroom environment.Seek for time or money saving effors in HVAC utility systemsLead technical guide and support for internal technicians and engineers, as well as support for contracted projects.Understand and able to interact with ancillary utility systems which tie into HVAC such as steam, chilled water, and others.Assist in the execution of validation and commissioning protocols and processesTechnical lead for any issues which may arise in the HVAC system or environmentAssist system owners in process development through cost, time or labor savingsContribute to optimization and improvements of facility products and systemsDevelop SOPs, work instruction, test methods, requirement specs and other documentsHeavy lifting and working in uncomfortable conditions (hot, wet, tight areas), as well as after-hour and weekend work possible.Heavy cross-functional dynamic teamwork support for Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, RandD, and other departments as neededStatistical analysis of process and utility data through use of Building AutomationAll other tasks as needed or assigned by supervisorHigh technical ability with a troubleshooting approachProvide technical assistance to management teamSystems which this person will interact with include but are not limitied to:Plant Utilities - domestic water, lab water, soft water, boilers, chillers, air compressors, air handler units, electrical systems, fuel and natural gasClean Utilities - USP high purity water, water for injection, clean steam, clean compressed air, lab and manufacturing gas systemsAutomation - building automation system (BAS), SCADA, alarm monitoring system
Position Requirements:5yearappliedexperience in technical role, preferably in pharmaceutical environmentBachelordegree in engineering, HVAC, refrigeration, physics, chemistry, biochemistry or a related STEM or technical field (preferred)High School Diploma with proof of technical certifications or classesStrong leadership, technical, communication and organization skills in a cross-functional, dynamic, teamwork environment
