The ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelors degreepreferably in business or HR-related discipline.
- At least 6years of experience as an HR Professional.
- PHR certification a plus.
- Manufacturing and/or Sales organization experience a plus
- Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.

Role & responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of general HR programs, including training, employment law compliance, compensation and benefits administration, recruiting, new hire orientation, employee relations, and performance management.
- Process employee information and status updates, maintaining employee information within the HRdatabase and payroll system, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in preparing HR Metrics (e.g. turnover, performance management ratings, training utilization, and diversity.
- Lead delivery and execution of high quality benefit plans.
- Assist team in actively manage benefit plans, vendors, and brokers for services, premiums, and plan administration.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the market dynamics, competitor benefit plan design, and industry trends in order to build competitive plans.
- Provide high quality, first line information and support to employees on a wide range of HR inquiries.
- Support planning of recruitment activities such as presentations, career fairs, events, interviews, etc.
- Assist in administration of talent acquisition process through clarification of job specifications, development of job descriptions, sourcing quality candidates, screen and interview candidates, schedule interviews, and track candidate status.
- Manage the distribution of required plan documents such summary plan descriptions, summary annual reports and others as needed.
- Provide communication and information to educate employees on offered plans, benefit design, costs, etc. to assist employees in benefits selection.
- Demonstrate an understanding of local, state, and federal regulations, employment, and EEO laws.
- Work with team to facilitate new hire orientation/on-boarding and process relevant paperwork including prescreening background checks, new hire paperwork, and HR system updates.
- Ensure company leave and paid time off policies are up to datewith federal and state regulations.
- Assist HR Manager on all tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferably in business or HR-related discipline.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as an HR Professional.
- PHR certification a plus.
