The Opportunity:

This is a unique role that will allow you to use your people skills and organization talents to their fullest extent. You will help build our culture of happy, empowered, and mission-driven employees while maximizing employee engagement. In this role, you will manage HR for Simplee’s US operations and report to the Chief Financial Officer.

We are looking for a fun, self-directed and detail-oriented star who is capable of working under pressure and enjoys getting things done. If you are highly energetic and love working with people this may be the role for you.


People and Cultural Development

  • Be our cultural ambassador for Simplee employees: reinforcing employee morale and excitement and making Simplee a wonderful and very fun and productive place to work
  • Manage all HR operations including performance management, benefits, compliance and the like (we have a PEO)
  • Manage recruiting and new hireonboarding:
    • Facilitate recruiting process with hiring managers and external recruiters
    • Own end-to-end new hire process and assimilation
  • Partner with the leadership team to share ideas and best practices; and provide coaching on optimizing employee relations
  • Liaise with international HR team to ensure coordination, and to share ideas and best practices
  • Propose, gain approval, and manage budgets for all activities
  • Develop, plan, and execute new and innovative team building and social events
  • Be the point person for office matters including ordering supplies and overseeing facilities
  • Manage stocking of our kitchen and our catering needs for weekly lunches, meetings and special events as needed
  • Develop, document, and communicate new processes and approaches to better manage the office and costs


  • 3 or more years of experienceworking within a fast-paced growth startup in an HR capacity
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, hands-on by nature and a fun approach to work
  • Strong bias to action and problem solving
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis
  • Ability to navigate an organization, and establish impactful relationship across the company
  • Very much connected with people; balancing empathy for employees with the needs of the overall organization
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent applicable experiencerequired
