Human Resources Manager immediately needed for a very stable and busy manufacturing facility located in the San Diego, CA. area along with a sister facility located in Florida. Approx. 25% travel, once a quarter to the sister facility. Amazing work environment, area competitive salary plus bonus plan participation.

 

Required a BA/BS - a Master's degree is a plus.

BILINGUAL a plus

Ten plus years of progressively more responsible exempt level experience. Experience with oversite for multiple sites (2) required with a proven track record in a manufacturing divisional role.

The selected candidate will provide Human Resources counsel, services and support to operations and business units to ensure a highly productive, motivated and trained work force.

He/she will recommend appropriate human resource management actions to meet business needs while supporting the company's commitment to employees and ensuring legal compliance.

He/she will work in collaboration with divisional, operational and corporate management in various areas such as leadership development, change management, performance consulting, strategic business planning, strategic staffing, complaint investigations and conflict management.

The selected candidate will operate with appreciable latitude for action or decisions. Works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters.

Occasional travel to other corporate locations. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Works closely with all levels of employees within divisions. Operates within budget. Maintains technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional organizations.
