  • Partner with management teams in aligning staff, policy and procedures to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure that all labor/employment laws are being adhered to, and that ICE is in compliance with such laws.
  • Develop position descriptions in cooperation with relevant department representatives.
  • Partner with HR staff to make recommendations and decisions about hiring, discipline, and termination of employees.
  • Handle employee relation activities to ensure consistency and equitable treatment of employees.
  • Advise management on employee relations issues such as coaching and counseling, discipline, separations.
  • Partner with global HR staff to ensure compliance of current orientation materials to new hire employees, including all required documentation
  • Ensures proper tracking of applicants and new hires, including job offer letters, and correspondence to applicants not selected
  • Participate in unemployment hearings
  • Handle all facilities and building management issues in the Orlando location
  • Partner with corporate legal team for the approval of all vendor agreements, and ensures on-time payment to such vendors through Accounts Payable
  • Consults with corporate HR on all processes including but not limited to payroll, benefits, employee data storage, and employee engagement programs
  • Ensure all employee transfers, termination, contractual obligations, etc. is tracked and adhered to
  • Work with HRIS team to make certain all reporting is correct and accurate
  • Assists with special projects within the United States from a hiring/HR perspective.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements of the Position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in a sales oriented environment, preferably in a call center a plus
  • Knowledge of Labor/Employment Laws
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiar with various job boards
  • Demonstrated experience in Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced setting, detail oriented, and can work independently.
  • Highly organized self-starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding employee records.
  • Experience with other HR functions, such as benefits, employee relations, and payroll preferred.
  • Must have effective communication and presentation skills.
