Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our customer service center based in Hollywood, FL. The ideal candidate understands what customer service really means from an HR perspective. In this role you’ll support one of the largest, fastest growing, most dynamic teams in e-commerce today. This position will play a vital role in assisting the Customer Service organization with strategic and tactical HRsupport. The person in this role will manage the onsite HR team and support approximately 1200 employees and leaders. We are looking for someone with a commitment to continually improving our processes, building strong partnerships, strengthening our team and ensuring that we are the employer of choice in our community!

What you'll do:

  • Develop and drive people initiatives, large projects and provide amazing stakeholder and team member customer support
  • Leads the day-to-day HR initiatives across a 24/7 business: employee relations, corporate policies/programs/procedures, change management, incident management…etc.
  • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Partner with peers at other locations on issues, project management and driving standard work
  • Operate with integrity, hustle and fun while serving as a Chewy cultural ambassador

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of HRexperience with a minimum of 4 years in a generalist capacity advising and influencing business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; High quality document and report preparation
  • Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness
  • Strong business acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
