Position Summary

Catalent is looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager to join a growing team in Madison, WI.

The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for supporting the Biologics businesses at the Madison, WI site and will be tasked with the development, implementation, and coordination of all aspects of Human Resources services at the site to include policies administration, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation, benefits, payroll administration, compliance, and staffing.

The Role

  • Ensure alignment of policies, procedures, plans, programs, and budgets within the areas of staffing, employee relations, compensation & benefits, employee development & training, organizational development, and compliance for Madison
  • Partner with Madison site leadership in strategic planning efforts, providing insight on vital HR concerns and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Provide counsel to managers and employees on HR issues, organization structure, and development
  • Establish and maintain an effective and credible HR business partnership with site leaders and HRBPs
  • Implement and administer an effective performance management process for the Madison site aimed at improving employee and organizational productivity
  • Develop appropriate training and development initiatives to meet regulatory compliance
  • In partnership with Corporate Compensation, implement and administer reward systems that meet the strategic and competitive demands of the business

The Candidate

  • BS or MS in a related field (Human Resources, Business, etc.)
  • 5-7 years broad and progressive experience in human resources required; exposure to manufacturing within the pharmaceutical or related technical industry preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Deep knowledge in HR management concepts with a strong consultative approach; previous direct people management experience would be a plus
  • Managerial courage with the ability to hold business accountable from an HR perspective
  • Demonstrated collaborative ability; good judgment and ethics; professional presence and demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; analytical thinker
  • Ability to “get the job done” and take responsibility for results without direct authority; ability to coordinate, facilitate, and organize resources
