Manages the HR functions for approximately 300 employees in assigned business unit and works with Managers and Directors to ensure that HR needs are met for the assigned internal business units and clients. Understands client group(s) business strategies and partners with 10 - 20 leaders/clients to identify HR considerations for their strategies.
Partners with clients to design and implement HR systems and programs that support the accomplishment of client's business goals. Helps client group(s) understand the legal and regulatory HR impacts of their decisions. Partners and supports business unit's growth, recruitment and development.
Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures and completes difficult assignments. May lead projects and/or be assisted by less experienced personnel. Assignments broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Has appreciable latitude for unviewed action or decision. May facilitate various meetings and conduct training as requested.
5-8+ years directly related HR experience, including client partnering skills and experience, broad generalist HR technical background, work in a team environment, and change management (experience working with clients in a fast paced, changing environment/implementing innovative change efforts).
Areas of expertise may include: employment, affirmative action, compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations, training and organization development. Depending on changing business conditions, one or more areas may be emphasized.
Related degree preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook. Must be able to demonstrate from job experience the ability to excel in a dynamic collaborative, team environment. Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
