Job Description- Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support overall business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand their needs and support them in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, performance evaluations, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Stay updated on HR trends and industry developments to propose innovative solutions and improve HR practices within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee data, benefits enrollment, and personnel files.
- Plan, forecast, and effectively manage the HR budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Qualifications- Post secondary education in Human Resources Management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
- CHRL/CHRP professional designation is an asset
