Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers. Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.

Requisition Summary

Showcase your ability to drive and execute strategic global HR programs in support of achieving organizational goals. This key position provides expert, proactive human resources consultative services for PACCAR Parts Division (PPD). This position will partner with and advise the PACCAR Parts Leadership regarding Talent Management, Training & Development, Employee Engagement and Organizational and HR Effectiveness. The successful candidate will deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Train, mentor and develop PPD HR team
  • Continuously improve all recruiting processes to meet strategic annual goals
  • Contribute to PPD’s global expansion efforts

Training and Development

  • Develop and execute strategic supervisor and manager training and leadership development programs; pilot and design new programs, provide and facilitate tailored sessions or training modules
  • Ensure world-class on-boarding/orientation program for division office and remote employees, supervisors and managers

Employee Engagement

  • Foster positive employee relations and successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Support the performance management and succession planning process
  • Manage compensation program including job and wage evaluation process and US & Canada merit program
  • Develop and sustain meaningful employee recognition programs
  • Oversee Safety and Health programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees

Organizational and Human Resources Effectiveness

  • Drive change management leadership for Human Resources Plan to support the achievement of business goals through strong partnerships and HR tools, processes and data
  • Foster a continuous improvement philosophy throughout the HR department, utilizing Six Sigma methodology and/or technology where appropriate
  • Lead or collaborate on global HR initiatives and projects
  • Ensure organizational compliance with employment law

Skills / Competencies


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field required and Master’s degreepreferred
  • Minimum 7 years’ broad HRGeneralistexperience, preferably in a large, corporate environment; international business experiencepreferred
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff
  • HRCI or SHRM certification preferred
  • Understanding of how the business cycle influences human capital needs and ability to translate business objectives into effective Human Resources programs and processes
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with employees and managers at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communications skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
