Leads and manages the HR function and HR teams in Columbus, NE, Warwick, RI, Niagara Falls, NY and Hollis, NH. Provides necessary direction and development opportunities striving to improve people and processes.
Responsible for development and maintenance of business partner relationship with Division management to drive business objectives and strategies.
Support and participate in regional employee development activities to build and refine the skills, knowledge and abilities of the workforce.
Coordinate succession planning efforts for the Division. Identify gaps and present solutions to fill the talent pipeline.
Monitors, maintains and strives to outperform HR key performance indicators.
Oversight of employment processes to ensure the quality of the workforce remains at a high level.
Advises and counsels management and employees regarding employee relations matters and is personally involved in internal investigations and disciplinary matters.
Partners with management, loss-control professionals and employees to generate and execute strategies to reduce risk and provide a safe work environment for everyone.
Conducts training sessions regarding leadership, policies, procedures and best practices to continually develop the workforce.
Maintains compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, State and Federal laws including ADA, AAP, FMLA, EEO and OSHA requirements.
Coordinates local administration of corporate compensation and benefit programs.
Participates in regional projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience in the HR field.
SPHR Certification preferred, but not required.
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, preferably in a large multi-site manufacturing environment.
Skills / Certifications
Demonstrated skill in emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and oral/written communications.
Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and knowledge of project management principles. Skill in MS Office products, including proficiency in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Demonstrated ability to manage change, including dealing with ambiguity and managing conflict.
