Job Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner role is multi-dimensional, analytical and involves aligning the organization’s Human Resources strategies with the Finance & Technology business and successfully implementing critical initiatives in support of business activities. The incumbent will work both as a hands-on generalist, strategic partner, and a trusted advisor to business constituents at all levels. Responsibilities include:

HRBP / Generalist

  • Provide human resources support tailored to the needs of Finance and Technology across a spectrum of human capital related disciplines in collaboration with HR COEs. This includes: support for recruiting needs; talent and performance management; training and development; onboarding; compensation; D&I; employee relations
  • Ensure a proactive and forward-thinking approach that is viewed by clients, at all levels, to be confident, thoughtful, strategic, consultative and valuable to the organization’s success
  • Champion the firm’s continuing commitment to diversity in its broadest sense and support plans and programs to ensure the company’s workforce at all levels reflects this commitment
  • Partner with colleagues on the development and implementation of firm-wide HR programs
  • Ad hoc Human Resources activities as assigned

    Metrics and Analytics

  • Prioritize focus on strategic Human Resources levers that align to business results. This includes developing and interpreting key Human Resources metrics that support core people and talent processes and drive decisions (heavy focus on compensation planning, talent management, D&I)
  • Develop and maintain, in conjunction withHR COEs, a suite of analytics in the above areas in order to provide a view on talent and drive decision making
  • Manage ad hoc requests onreporting

    Talent Management

  • Partner with the Head ofHR for Finance &Technology and other stakeholders on the planning, development, communication and implementation of talent managementprocesses

    Qualifications

    The individual we seek is an experienced Human Resources professional who is commercial and possesses an analytical, inquisitive, future-oriented mindset. Broad HRexperience and a strong generalist skill set across the HR space, with an emphasis on talent and compensation planning, is necessary. He/she is a confident change agent with strong communication skills who is comfortable and effective influencing at all levels.

    Experience required:

  • Development, maintenance and application of key HR metrics throughout talent management and compensation reviews
  • Strategic talent management and/or organizational effectiveness/development
  • Compensation planning and partnering with a business during compensation reviews
  • Minimum of five years human resources experience gained, at least in part, at a well-respected professional services, financial services, or technology organization known for disciplined business performance and engaged, consultative human resources
  • Experience in client-facing roles such as field-oriented generalist or HR business partner
  • Bachelor’sdegreerequired; advanceddegreeis a plus

  • Strong business and financial acumen, ability to influence inside and outside of HR, high integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze talent related data and provide insights
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, translate business initiatives into clear Human Resources strategies coupled with a process-oriented, forward looking approach
  • Ability to effectively communicate Human Resources strategy and rationale
  • Solid collaboration and interpersonal skills to leverage the broad capabilities of peers, business partners and associates
  • Global mindset, international exposure a plus
