Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic and tactical guidance as the HRBP to teams within the IT organization in the development and implementation of business plans. In this role, you will anticipate and plan for human capital implications, i.e. workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, and performance based activities in order to achieve both business and organizational goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

-Participate in the development and implementation of business plans and strategies. 
-Lead the ongoing talent review process. Assess and identify high performing / high potential leaders, ensure succession and development plans are in place. Coach and assist with the development of high potential colleagues.
-Provide clear and effective counsel to management on all HR issues, including performance feedback, progressive discipline, and employment law. 
-Provide prompt and successful resolution to associate issues / concerns. Effectively counsel leaders on Employee Relations issues and reduce potential business liabilities. 
-Engage and help lead employee communications and change management initiatives. 
-Partner with IT leaders to ensure performance management and compensation plans are administered in a manner consistent with business and organizational goals, and that performance management activities are ongoing and aligned with pay for performance culture. 
-Partner with IT leaders regarding the immigration needs and sponsorship of foreign nationals, while managing the colleague cases in conjunction with our immigration/legal team. 
The successful candidate will possess the following:
-Proven ability to contribute to the design and implementation of HR strategies, programs, and processes in support of the overall business strategy. 
-Working knowledge of employment law and general HR business programs.
-Strong history of quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders. 
-Proven ability to influence and coach at all levels of the organization. 
-Strong communication and presentation skills. 
-Effective organization and planning skills as well as solid analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. 
-Ability to quickly learn and understand the drivers to business performance.

Required Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience. 

-Working knowledge of employment law and general HR business programs. 

-Ability to travel up to 20% 

Preferred Qualifications
- HR experience within the retail business or healthcare industry preferred. 

- Degree in Human Resources or related field desirable. 

Education
Bachelor Degree required or equivalent work experience.
