The Human Resources Business Partner will:

  • Leverage the expertise of and partner with Shared Services
  • Lead wider change projects for specific business areas; act as HR functional lead in organizational-wide programs
  • Influence and lead key talent initiatives for the business including Succession planning, Talent Assessments, 360 reviews, etc.
  • Track and monitor progress and escalate business risks where appropriate
  • Manage Employee Relations initiatives (prevention & resolution) for business units, provide high level support to junior HRBPs on ER/management issues
  • Administer annual compensation and performance management programs for Corporate and Investment Banking business in the Americas
  • Utilize various applications to communicate and market strategic HR initiatives to business areas


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree
  • 7-10 years of HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience with complex employee relations; strong knowledge of federal, state and local labor/employment laws
  • Familiarization with Banking organizations, job roles and business competencies preferred; strong business acumen
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in leading talent programs within a business unit
  • Proven experience building and influencing cross-functional relationships and successfully interacting with executive teams
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with team members and work on a flexible and collaborative team
