We are looking for a talented and motivated HR Business Partner (HRBP) to partner closely with our business leaders to align employee practices and programs to support successful achievement of business objectives. The HRBP will serve as an employee advocate, a consultant to managers on human resources-related issues, and a change agent to support business growth. The HRBP will get to know the challenges and opportunities of the business units, will anticipate HR-related needs and will proactively develop salutations to meet current and future needs. The HRBP will advise on employee relations issues, organizational structure, proactive talent planning, learning and development, performance and development processes, and application of company wide HR practices to meet specific team needs.

In your first 30 days, you will:

- Learn about the business goals of each of the departments you support
- Work closely with department leads to understand their current projected HR- related challenges and desired goals
- Get to know the individuals that make up each of the teams you serve and understand their goals and challenges
- Begin sitting in on team meetings with the teams you support and meeting with leaders regularly to identify areas for continuous improvement

In your first 60 days, you will:

- Build expertise in company-wide HR practices and process
- Begin to support the identified HR-related opportunities to for improvement on each team

In your first 90 days, you will:

- Assess employee development needs, identify opportunities for growth and learning and work collaboratively with managers and employees to develop career and development plans

Qualification and competencies

- BA/BS degree or equivalent related experience
- 6+ years of HR or other relevant work experience
- Strategic and empathetic thinker, quick to recognize business challenges and their real potential impact on employees
- Perceptive and thoughtful in identifying issues and developing appropriate solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trusted relationships and provide effective coaching
- Ability to keep information confidential and handle sensitive issues with empathy and strong judgement
- Initiative and enthusiasm to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced work environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
- A team-oriented, can-do attitude; wiling to do what it takes to get the job done
