Responsibilities

  • High level of administrative support to the Human Vice President of Human Resources
  • Full cycle recruitment from intake meetings, posting, sourcing, screening and interviews for Canadian and US roles using in house systems namely ICIMS
  • Host new hire onboarding, orientation and training
  • Provide support for benefits, pension, and payroll processing
  • Provide support and resolutions to all employees including hourly plant employees and salaried corporate employees
  • Maintain employee personnel files both electronically and hard copies
  • Maintain HRIS software systems – namely Oracle Solutions
  • Provide recruitment support for HR Managers based at otherlocations throughout the US
  • Assist with process improvements, forecasting and succession planning
  • Other duties as required

 

Qualifications

Four yeardegree (or higher) required in area of discipline

  • 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Demonstrate track record of achieving success with the ability to multi-task under pressure, tight deadlines, and a fast paced environment
  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail isrequired
