Our client, a global law firm located in New York City is seeking their Human Resource Compliance Analyst. The HR Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting compliance efforts relating to all aspects of the Human Resources function, including federal contractor obligations, analysis and coordination of compliance with new state and federal legislation, maintaining compliant compensation procedures, and data management. Additionally, this position:

  • Researches and tracks regulatory changes impacting employers and analyzes their impact on existing policy, employment practices, and/or HRIS systems.
  • Coordinates implementation of compliance-related policy, employment practices and system updates with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Creates internal guidelines for identified best practices and complaint procedures.
  • Participates in training and seeks out external resources to further legal compliance knowledge and understanding of best practices with respect to internal procedures.
  • Participates in the data analysis and auditing for Affirmative Action reporting and analyses.
  • Ensures compliance with federal contractor obligations, including record retention, job posting requirements, and EEO-1 reporting.
  • Partners and liaisons with domestic office HR professionals to ensure diverse recruitment initiatives are aligned with the OFCCP requirements and the Firm's identified needs.
  • Assists in conversion to new HRIS system as it relates to HR Compliance data and reporting.
  • Supports data management and reporting with respect to compensation compliance.
  • Participates in annual pay equity review process, including analyzing compensation data and identifying issues.
  • Works closely with Attorney Development department to ensure consistency with respect to compliance practices.
  • Consults with Firm labor attorneys regarding compliance practices.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state labor law posting requirements.
  • Maintains repository of current and relevant HR compliance information on the Human Resources Professionals Intranet.
  • Communicates with HR Professionals in all offices regarding compliance issues and serves as ongoing resource for them.
  • Recommends procedural improvements in compliance practices.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five years Human Resources compliance experience
  • Considerable knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices, including employment laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Salary

$90K - $110K
$90K - $110K base, All Benefits bonus
