Title: HRIS Analyst 
Project duration: 12 months contract
Location: Austin, TX (1) or Palo Alto, CA (2) or Remote-USA 

Looking for Workday Benefits Integrations and Data Migration Analyst 
Integrations Analyst: 

  • Drive business requirements gathering for benefits integrations, develop Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for custom integrations between 3rd party vendors and Workday Benefits 
  • Review Technical design documentation for custom integrations 
  • Deliver on assigned tasks in all project phases from Initiation, Planning, Analysis, Design, Build, Test/Train, Deploy and Stabilization 
  • Participate in all aspects of system testing including development of integrations test strategy documentation, write test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics, and test script execution (including stress tests and user acceptance testing) 
  • Coordinate meetings for team as needed (including internal, consultants, vendors) 
  • Identify and invite additional stakeholders to provide input as needed 
  • Communicate with other project leads to ensure appropriate links with other work streams 
  • Attend meetings and provide verbal and written status updates 
  • Immediately escalate issues, risks, questions and concerns 

Data Migration Lead: 

  • Provide overall leadership for data migration tasks and activities 
  • Break down and assign tasks to team members to complete assigned deliverables 
  • Coordinate meetings for team as needed 
  • Identify and invite additional stakeholders to provide input as needed 
  • Communicate with other project leads to ensure appropriate links with other work streams 
  • Attend meetings and provide verbal and written status updates 
  • Immediately escalate issues, risks, questions and concerns 
  • Determine what data will be migrated between 3rd party vendors to WD Benefits 
  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, create data migration strategy & detailed testing and validation plan 
  • Develop data mapping document from vendors to WD Benefits; obtain sign off from stakeholders 
  • Execute all data migration activities including data mapping, data quality review/data scrubbing, completing vendor-provided templates, data file exchange, data load validation (run reports, validate, sign off), etc. 
  • Determine cutoff dates for migrated data 
  • Create plan for manual migration post cutoff date as needed 

Position Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area; MBA/M.S. a plus 
  • 4+ yrs HRIS experience working on integrations to/from a Core HR system 
  • Strong Workday and project implementation experience with focus on integrations and data migration activities. 
  • Successful experience managing multiple project roles simultaneously 
  • Advanced knowledge of software and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel including advanced formulas for data mapping, validation and comparison) 
  • Developed HR acumen and technical aptitude, with proven experience in measurement, data analysis and interpretation 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical 
  • Self-starter possessing strong customer focus and comfortable dealing with ambiguity 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong relationship building skills in order to acquire trust of business partners 
  • Must exhibit firm security and confidentiality practices 
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints 
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
