What you'll do here:
- Serve as a Ceridian Dayforce HRIS application system administrator.
- A key responsibility of this role will be to work in partnership with the Senior HRIS Manager in the development, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HRIS, including all aspects of human resources and benefits systems.
- Responsible for proper and effective operation of HRIS software, on both the technical and user-facings sides of the systems.
- Coordinates software installations and upgrades with vendor(s). Troubleshoots issues, researches errors, and applies corrections. Provides end-user support and training.
- Ability to drive workflow development enhancements and customization improvement requests for HR System(s); assist with implementing changes while ensuring quality outcomes.
- Capture and organize large amounts of data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials; heavy reporting responsibility.
- Work with Ceridian support to coordinate system upgrades, reporting analytics, system configurations and more.
- Open enrollment and life event configuration and testing
- Serve as a super-user for HRIS data entry, updates, trouble shooting, reports generations.
- Create test scenarios and assist project team members in performing those tests to ensure all processes work effectively, efficiently and in accordance with business requirements.
- Conduct and report on periodic HR file audits to ensure records are meeting regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned systems and develop SOPS and user guides.
- Ability to work in various HR functions and systems simultaneously, within tight deadlines, to provide deliverables on a cyclical and as needed basis.
- Handle multiple requests from various levels within the organization.
- Conduct regularly scheduled audits of benefit information to ensure data integrity.
- Interpretation and configuration of all benefit plan and eligibility rules in Ceridian/Dayforce system.
- Assist management in identifying and analyzing options and recommend and implement enhancements.
- Identify and resolve technical or process issues impacting Benefits/HR/Payroll data integrity.
What skills and experience you’ll bring for success:
- 5+ years recent HRIS analyst experience processing HR actions in a timely and accurate manner under tight deadlines for a large population.
- Bachelors degree or higher; relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
- Advanced proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, writing formulas, etc.)
- Analytical problem-solver who can turn manual processes into automated, efficient processes. Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
- Solid experience with data interpretation and data manipulation for large organizations.
- Project management skills and/or credentials, with the ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Sound analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with requirements that may not be clearly defined where additional research must be performed to find the best possible solution.
- Must be able to effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential employee matters at all times.
- Strong partnering skills, with experience working with Benefits, Compensation, Accounting, remote staff and all levels of management.
- Familiarity with HR operations including hiring, payroll, and employee benefits a plus.
- Experience with remote workforce, multi-state, and retail locations or seasonal workforce preferred
- Metric and data driven individual who can provide feedback and advice when asked for metrics and reports, as well as thinks strategically about what data to capture
- Experience with Ceridian HRIS Dayforce system preferred
