The HRIS and Compensation Analyst will take a leadership role in driving HR technology and business processes to support the HR strategy of creating institutional value add, partnerships, engagement, and high performance in support of Champlain College’s 2020 Plan. This position has responsibility for data integrity, design and implementation of testing system changes, report writing, and analysis of work flow for process improvement. The Analyst will benchmark best practices, analytics and driving internal metrics for operational performance enhancements. Will develop comprehensive training documents, which truly enable the use of the direct access HRIS system. Design, develop and test HRIS processes and tool integrations while providing support to the team as internal HRIS subject matter expert. In addition, this position will oversee the College’s compensation programs and will be responsible for assisting in the interpretation of compensation policy, job evaluation and design, market pricing, and compensation benchmarking. Works with Human Resources team and first line managers to provide analysis and guidance on a variety of compensation related issues.
Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Will consider a combination of experience and education that demonstrates the skills, talents and abilities to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. 4-6 years of HR experience with strong operational/HRIS management. HRIS systems implementation, business analysis and quality improvement experience. Practical knowledge of HR technology through experience and how it is applied to solve HR systems and challenges and how to drive and support HR strategy through technology. Project managementexperience is a plus. Strong understanding of HR processes and data including HRIS system structure, function and processes, and experience with database tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
