JOB OVERVIEW: The HRIS Analyst I is an intermediate position within the HRIS structure. The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of all Human Resources technology. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst I supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· System Maintenance. Assist in the development of project plans and scenarios related to the testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches. May run some upgrade/patch projects. Collaborate with functional and technical to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain system tables and configure approved changes. Document process and results.

· Production Support. Provide system support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; recommend and implement solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Receives Tier 1HRIS tickets for resolution. Escalate to third-party vendors and/or support resources where appropriate.

· Projects/Process Improvement. Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.

· Reports/Queries. Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

· System Security. Assist in the design, development testing, implementation and ongoing support of roles and security framework.

· Change Management: Ensure end user support materials are updated and changes communicated appropriately.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Typically 2 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
