The HR Business Partner Director, Global Operations will be the strategic partner to our Global Operations organization and Sr. Leadership team, responsible for translating business strategy and requirements into global HR strategy, plans and objectives for the function. As a member of the HR Team, the HR Business Partner will collaborate with regional HRBPs to ensure regional and local market requirements are represented in strategies and plans, along with other HR colleagues & teams.

Responsibilities


  • Strategic partner/trusted advisor to key Executive(s). Works closely with senior leadership to define and execute business strategies that enable alignment and growth. Responsible for defining and executing required strategic HR solutions and talent strategy.
  • Brings an objective and practical perspective in managing business problems. Provides insight regarding people, organizational dynamics and the business and translates this insight into sustainable solutions. Recognizes and effectively balances the client group's interests with the needs of the company.
  • Partner with the business leaders to maximize organizational effectiveness. Lead and drive global organization transformation in partnership with leadership team and global HR partners. Leverage expertise in organization design, team development, talent/workforce planning, change management to maintain a culture that optimizes the passion and potential of our employees.
  • Develop depth knowledge of the business both strategically and operationally to build consultative partnerships with executives and directors with the Global Operations team.
  • Through authenticity, establish credibility to problem solve and coach as a member of leadership team.
  • Model strong partnerships with other enabling functions throughout the company to help leaders run the business.
  • Offer insight based on systemic thinking, inquiry and analytics.
  • Think globally, spot trends, proactively communicate and act in accordance to the team operating norms and contribute to a strong HR team across the company.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years experience preferred
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • A broad base of human resources experience is a must, as well as, a strong track record and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence through integration planning and execution.
  • Proactive collaboration within the HR team and demonstrated ability to impact and influence leaders
  • Operating experience within a complex, changing environment. Experience driving organizational design and change management initiatives required.
  • In-depth experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong systems thinking, analyitical aptitude, highly collaborative, open-minded, persistent, and passion for and understanding of Equinix business
