**Position is a 2-Year Fixed-Term, fully-benefitted role**

Job Summary

The HR Partner would be part of the HR Solutions team and would be responsible for providing excellent C-I-CARE customer service to management and employees and is fully dedicated to the internal clients, their needs and their duties on all human resources-related issues. HR Partner serves as a technical resource and business partner with both breadth and depth across all functional areas of HR. Communicates needs proactively with our HR department and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HR Partner formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. HR Partner operates independently and is broadly recognized for their functional and business knowledge. Assignments are very complex, project oriented and solutions require innovative thinking, application of professional concepts, and the ability to influence decisions and results.

Essential Functions

Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford's patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions.

Provides assistance and guidance to managers in the use of self-serve on-line vehicles that can improve their productivity and access to information.
Provides technical support and leadership in the development and implementation of programs, processes, standard work, and productivity tools to increase the operational efficiency and ease for the HR Services team.
Responsible for leading and/or being a key contributor to the research, development and implementation of major process changes and program introductions including the development of communications and delivery of presentations, including new employee sessions and orientation.
Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides support in managing, measuring and analyzing metrics.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Serves as a liaison to all other HR functions. Participates in staff meetings; updates staff on HR Operational process changes, programs; gathers feedback on effectiveness of integrated processes; and collaborates on processes to be transitioned to the HR Services.
Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the client's side.
Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, processes, and policies.
Serves as the escalation point for questions or issues related to programs, benefits, processes, and HR data systems.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

Prior or relevant experience in healthcare and in a union environment
