The HR Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Human Resources for the Facility Solutions Group. This person serves as consultant/partner to both the senior leaders and management teams for an assigned location on Human Resources-related matters, with the goal of aligning best HR practices to business strategies. The HR Manager will collaborate with Shared Services departments to deliver solutions that address assigned companies' needs. He/She will also collaborate with the Senior Director, HR Operations and other HR Managers on HR projects and initiatives as required.

All assigned duties or tasks are deemed to be part of the essential functions, unless such duties or tasks are unrelated to the functions listed, in which case they are deemed to be other (non-essential) functions.Responsibilities:Work with clients to strategically plan, organize, direct, implement, evaluate, and manage the assigned operating companies' human resources needs and assume client facing duties to work directly with senior AGS leadership.Work closely with senior leaders and managers to provide expertise and hands on support in multiple areas including: workforce planning, on boarding, phase ins/phase outs, employee retention, employee relations, management coaching, performance management, terminations, and change management.Manage, recommend and implement remedies on mid-level to complex employee relations issues working closely with the Manager, Employee Relations and through the Senior HR Manager.Maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations while meeting contractual requirements and obligations.Respond to employee and customer questions and concerns regarding the understanding and application of AGS policies and procedures.Conduct exit interviews and communicates with appropriate departments for follow on actions.Prepare termination documents in support of involuntary terminations; gather and prepare all documentation neededFacilitate on-boarding/orientation and employee relations training programs as required.Provides active leadership in support of recruiting and employment activities; works within Taleo to submit requisitions and assist new hires with onboarding activities.Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management for coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Refer to disciplinary matrix and CBA to determine appropriate disciplinary levels/actions...Submit, Review and/or Approve Personnel Action Notices through the Employee Resource Center (ERC).Coordination with Leave department on any FMLA, ADA, and LOA request.Design and run queries and prepare various reports as requested by management.Provide current and prospective employees with information about company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.Engage with shared service department teams (Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Recruiting, Payroll, Compliance, HR Operations, Legal, and Labor Relations) to execute business strategies through tactical operations.Develops and maintains customer relationships through daily interaction and frequent communication.All other duties as assigned by the Senior, HR Manager or Senior, Director, HR OperationsOccasional travel may be required (less than 15%)
