The position reports to the Global Division HR Manager (APS/EPM) and is responsible for Human Resources activities of the APS and EPM Divisions. The position develops, manages, coordinates, and administers HR programs across the span of HR areas. He/she will lead EPM/APS site HR activities for Cary, Erie, Wixom and US field locations including training efforts related to HR systems, policies, programs and initiatives.
Perform HR data analysis including compensation analysis and team member count reconciliation, liaising between HR and Finance.
Lead HR projects and initiatives. Develop methods to track and report on progress of initiatives, develop and publish management reports and presentations. Evaluate processes and recommend/implement continuous improvement.
Lead investigations, from intake to closure.
Manage the approval process for items such as promotions, increases and other personnel transactions.
Assist with implementation of coaching/performance improvement plans.
Lead recruiting, on-boarding, and exit activities.
Lead activities related to succession planning, talent development, talent reviews, performance management, and engagement.
Assist team members on employee relations issues and HR policies/procedures. Address complex and varied questions and concerns by team members. Administer various human resources plans and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field with at least three years working experience in Human Resources, Finance, or other analytical business role.
Integrity, with ability to handle highly sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong interest and aptitude for data analysis and problem solving with high attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. Passion for evaluating processes and implementing continuous improvement.
Highly skilled with using systems, technology, and Excel.
Excellent communication and listening skills. Skilled at facilitation in both small and large group interactions.
Strong collaboration and team work.
