5+ years of Human Resources related experience required

2+ years of conflict resolution experience

Ability to travel within California approximately 30% of the time

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting the Human Resources function

Ability to work collaboratively with a group and independently

Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to learn new applications

Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus

Some knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus

A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, psychology, or related field preferred. High school diploma required

Exceptional customer service skills and techniques

Familiarity with a variety of HR concepts, practices and procedures

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the general aspects of Human Resources for the Commercial Division. The HR Manager will handle employee relations and assist with the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture. The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in recruiting, onboarding, training, and company events.


The position will operate very closely with the SC Fuels Human Resources team located in Orange, CA and will ensure alignment in business practices across the company standard

Assist with screening and interviewing all potential Commercial candidates

Assist with the day to day operations of the Human Resources department as related to Commercial

Assist with Performance Correction Notices

Work with Compliance Manager to make sure that all compliance related functions comply with local, state and federal laws

Provide assistance with benefits and payroll questions

Ensure that performance reviews and team meetings are being conducted

Assist with organization and events for Driver Appreciation Week

Performs other job-related duties as assigned by manager
