PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison to Regional Operations team to provide support and resources to enhance culture.
Develop internal programs and procedures for various HR functions.
Notify appropriate internal and external sources of new hires and terminations (to initiate/end benefits, ensure equipment is ordered/returned, staff is notified).
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (401k, file items, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management, as needed.
Assist with conducting new employee orientations; administer pre-employment tests; conduct reference checks.
Ensure personnel files, both hard copies and HRIS, are in compliance with applicable legal requirements, keeping employee records up-to-date at all times. Compile reports and disseminate copies as needed.
Oversee personnel compliance issues as they pertain to state, federal and other regulatory agencies. Handle tracking and reporting as necessary. Understand and train personnel in areas such as EEO, employment and labor laws.
Manage employee leave of absence, FMLA and workers’ compensation processes for assigned regions(s).
Maintain working relationship with employees responding to questions and concerns and by researching and communicating various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Conduct or assist in exit interview process.
Review and approve annual performance reviews for region.
Review and approve disciplinary and performance management documents and assist managers in preparing for and attend these meetings.
Assist in development and execution of organizational training and development efforts.
Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
Show proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft products, HRIS, CIBS, in-house applications.
Act as project manager for special projects within Human Resources department.
Travel, as required, to support regional offices.

Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
