The Position

HR Director, Fortune 100 Global Commercial Manufacturer


Location: Pacific Northwest

The Director, of this Fortune 100 with over a dozen manufacturing locations in the US as well as multiple global operations and offices will help influence and shape organizational business plans, vision, mission, and priorities based on HR knowledge, operations, and associated practices.

The Director HR will Partner withsales and marketing to develop and implement HR strategic objectives to maintain and grow the business in a competitive market while supporting Global 2025 through emphasis on Culture to Performance.

The successful candidate will maintain high visibility and influence with senior leaders across the company and partnering withHR business leaders to not only meet the needs of the business, but to ensure the HR function leads with excellence.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 Influence and shape organizational business plans, vision, mission, and priorities based on HR knowledge

 Aligns HR’s strategic direction and long-term goals with the sales and marketing organization’s overall business strategy and objectives.

 Drive the development of the business unit’s / function’s long term talent strategy and plan, and ensure realization

 Lead the business through the planning and execution of the human capital elements of the organization's long range strategy, objectives and business plan

 Use business knowledge to shape HR strategy for projects aligned to enterprise growth strategy

 Partner with CoEs to solve business challenges and develop relevant solutions, programs, policies for the organization in alignment with the enterprise strategy

 Anticipate risks of misalignment between the function, business and enterprise priorities, and facilitate leaders through associated solutions and decisions

 Partner with the Global Diversity & Talent Strategy Leader to align business specific talent strategy with the enterprise vision and strategy

 Act as strategic advisor and change agent, collaborating with leaders to plan the rollout of HR programs to business units / functions

 Lead change initiatives across business and throughout the organization

 Act as the senior leader and conduit for business unit / function people challenges related to talent planning, productivity, performance optimization and organizational change

 Build and sustain trusted business partner relationships with the senior executive leadership team, HR and other functions

 Ensure local HR fully understand and are prepared to support business strategy and talent plans

 Improving the depth and breadth of internal talent on the team

 Strong change leadership skills coupled with exceptional relationship building and influencing ability

 Versatile management style with a "change leader" behavior set

 High degree of salescompensation and total rewards experience

 Experienceworking within a sales and marketing function

 Comfortable and agile in setting vision and driving/executing operationally

 Strong business and financial acumen (cross-functional experience a plus)

 Track record of serving as a coach/BP to business leaders and HR team members

 Clear communicator, both written and verbally

 Incorporates inclusion and diversity enablers in deliverables

 Ethics and integrity to appropriately handle confidential, sensitive information and situations

 Exercises sound judgment - ability to diagnose root cause and apply critical and systemic thinking to solve complex problems

 Experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise change and organization initiatives including
