The Director of our Human Resources team will partner directly with key members of the Leadership Team to support our Corporate functions and Call Center near Orlando, Florida. This person will add significant value to the business and support the organization in achieving its business objectives by providing broad strategic HR leadership in areas such as talent acquisition / recruiting, employee engagement and retention, people development, organizational design, coaching and mentor-ship, compensation and total rewards, employee recognition, communication strategy, team building, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a hands on, business-focused strategic change agent who understands a call center environment and is able to adapt quickly in a fast-changing, hyper-growth environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic business partner and trusted adviser to leadership to align our people operations to meet the needs of the business

Pro-actively build relationships and partner with internal business clients to understand their business needs determine human resources priorities that will enable superior business operations, outcomes and create effective, impactful people strategies

Proactively drive the development, implementation, and administration of a strategic, growth-focused Human Resources program for the organization

Assist leadership in setting direction and problem resolution by providing input from a human resources perspective, which can involve creatively analyzing alternatives, understanding risk and evaluating appropriately

Contribute thought leadership around people and process improvements that will achieve greater efficiency, quality, and satisfaction in the organization

Lead efforts to improve employee engagement and retention among employees by enhancing the overall work experience, development activities, and recognition and reward programs

Develops human resource staffing models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps.

Regularly review staff development needs and consult with upper management to ensure necessary updates.

Partner with the team to hire and retain a more diverse workforce

Learn and understand roles and career paths in the organization and act as an advocate to help employees develop

Deliver professional-level Human Resources guidance and recommend improvements in such areas as recruiting, compensation, career development, performance management, compliance, and employee relations

Manages complex employee relations matters, driving favorable resolutions as quickly as possible

Foster open communication and cross-functional collaboration across the organization

Continuously improves on the effectiveness and efficiency of core HR operations while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local employment regulations

Coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through staff while aligning with corporate direction

Collaborate with leadership to identify and manage priorities to successfully achieve strategic imperatives for the organization

Assists leaders with their own development, employee development, team building, and process improvement

Champion our organizations culture and values in our Orlando, FL location

Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met in the areas of Employee Relations, Training, Recruiting, and all administrative HR areas.

Other duties as required. 

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.

Human Resources credentials (e.g. PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Minimum 7years of progressive HRexperience

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing  strategic HR programs that enable business plans and strategies

Demonstrated experience leading and supporting Corporate functions through strategic HR programs

Strong Call Center Employee Relations experiencepreferred

Solid understanding of Call Center Recruitment practices and Call Center Operation practices

Ability to influence through strong relationships, expertise, data and thought leadership competencies

Proven ability to evaluate employment-related situations, gather appropriate information, and provide sound guidance to management and employees

Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information (including Personally Identifiable Information and Protected Health Information)

Proven knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resource administration, including but not limited to policy and procedure, FMLA tracking, payroll, benefit administration, regulatory compliance, and HR systems

Demonstrated effective analytical, problem solving, judgment, and organizational skills; ability to identify trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis

Proven ability to manage and lead multiple initiatives, with competing deadlines in an effective manner

Highly effective communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels throughout organization using written, verbal and listening skills

Drive HR strategies with a foundation of HR business metrics to increase organizational profitability and effectively align the workforce.

Thrive in a fast paced environment open to experimentation and continuous improvement

Comfortable shifting gears from deeply complex strategy discussions to rolling up your sleeves to get things done

Supervisory Responsibility: May include supervisory responsibilities of HR / Talent Acquisition professionals.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
