Job Description:   The HR Business Partner is responsible for overseeing & ensuring compliance of various Human Resource verticals such as performance evaluations, mobility/immigrations, employee relations, etc. & ensuring compliance of the organizations' policies & processes.   Key Priorities:

  1. Partner with the business unit(s) to drive Human Resource interventions and change
  2. Responsible for essential HR activities including Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, New Hire Onboarding and Orientation, Immigration.
  3. Drive organization-wide priority projects within the business unit(s).
  4. Act as change agent, supporting the transformation of and continuous improvement of HR frameworks and processes.
  5. Ensure all working practices and activities meet all legal obligations as an employer and ensure the provision of a first-class HR service to the business unit(s) to deliver a signature employee experience.

Area of Responsibility

  • Provide broad HR support to business managers to build people management capability. Enable better people management through proactive identification and application of HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial and workforce data to assist better decision making.
  • Coach managers and teams in the use of the relevant HR tools for ensuring high performance and encourage the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of fair and ethical work practices to optimise employee engagement and wellbeing.Be aware of practices & policies of all relevant Federal & state laws and ensure full compliance with all internal and statutory requirements.
  • Provide robust, accurate guidance on matters of company policy, processes and practices while ensuring we meet all our legal obligations as an employer. Deploy consistent approaches to HR processes across the business.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Act as a facilitator on Employee Engagement survey actions and drive resulting change activities.
  • Enhance, deploy and actively support HR processes such as New Hire Orientation, Performance Appraisals and Employee Support.
  • Work closely with HR colleagues in APAC and EU to ensure knowledge sharing and best practice. Participate in global HR projects.
  • Network with external HR professionals and represent TTL in the wider community as necessary, sharing best practices.
  • Work with business managers to identify training needs. Collaborate with trainers (external/ internal) to plan and organize training programs as per Training Needs Identification (TNIs)
  • Other projects as directed by manager/supervisor

  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is preferred
  • 8 to 10 years of previous experience in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of Labor Laws
  • Knowledge of immigration Laws
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Strong Time Management and Priorities / Project Management Skills
  • Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, self-driven and able to achieve results with minimal supervision / direction
  • Experienced working in multi-cultural and global organization(s)
  • Some travel locally, nationally and on occasion internationally
