Dell EMCInfrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) organization is hiring anHR Business Partner to support the VP of Server Business Strategy, the VP of Server CTO Office and their respective senior management teams.This is a dual role with focus onHRBP client supportresponsibilities as well as program
managementresponsibilities for our Server business transformation efforts. This position will be located in Round Rock, TX and willreport to the Director ofHR for Server Solutions. TheHR business partner isresponsible for working with the team to understand the business strategy and to identify opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and productivity.
TheHRBP will beresponsible for developing and executing human capital strategies and activities that enable growth, innovation and overall organizational effectiveness. Additionally, theHRBP will beresponsible for driving corporate led initiatives with the team and communicating how these programs fit in with the overall business andHR strategy. ThisHRBP must be able to communicate at the executive level, collaborate across boundaries and geographies and work with colleagues across the business and across the broadHR team. This role will regularly need to align and collaborate with the Server business team around the world, the regionalHR services teams, Employee Relations specialists andotherinternalHR specialty teams talent acquisition, talent management andcompensation and benefits. The business partner will be the trusted advisor for the leadership team.
They will participate as an extended member of the executive team and will provide coaching and counsel.Responsibilities: Primary alignment to two business groups as well as core team leaders of the transformation efforts across multiple business units. Consults with executive and senior leaders in areas of organization design and development in support of business strategy. Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with executives and team members to identify and address root causes of human resources issues. Interacts with process owners, functional leaders of project teams to drive program objectives, milestones andschedules. Ensures compliance with corporate policy at the business unit or division level. - Viewed as a business partner, change agent, and member of the line leadership staff - Consults with the business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy/transformation, organizational development and effectiveness, organizational health, workforce optimization, change management, rewards and culture - Consults with the business to define and activate the People Strategy - Scans and benchmarks the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices / trends to influence the business andHR agenda. - Leads and implements business specific projects and initiatives to deliver on specific business requirements and outcomes - Provides counsel and coaching to leadership and manages overall business relationship - Partners acrossHR and withother BUs to influence decisions and provide end-to-end business solutions in line with the businesses affordability envelope - Drives company-wide programs, initiatives and coreHR programs (e.g.Diversity action planning, Rewards, Pay Planning, , Performance Management Cycle, Tell Dell, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, etc.) - Partners with the Centers of Excellence (COE) and provides input to design business appropriate solutions;responsible for the delivery and execution of Global COE talent management programs - Key core team member of cross functional team from multiple time zones. Plans andschedules/participates in reviews to: track,report and manage to programschedule and deliverable. Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and application. Facilitate topdown and bottom-up processes and operations. Help prioritize work flow to ensure program stays on track and goals are meet. - Manage agreed program changes, influence decision makers and drive problem resolution - Stakeholder management and project status updates and readout to impacted leadership teams.
QUALIFICATION: -Undergraduate and8-10years of relevantexperience or Graduatedegree and 6-8years of relevantexperience. - Proven ability to proactively translate changing business objectives to effectiveHR strategies; specificexperience needed in in Strategy Development, Organization Design, Talent Management,Diversity & Inclusion and Change Management - Relevantexperience driving org design, talent and change efforts to effectively align the organization and talent to deliver on new business objectives - Strong client relationship management skills and demonstratedexperience in developing consultative relationships with executive leaders, including the ability to influence decision makers to think strategically and critically - Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor andrespond toHR and company metrics - Demonstrated ability to drive broad complex projects to successful completion - Strong Program/Project Management Skill and Change Management Background - Ability to lead complex initiatives - Ability to simplify complex concepts for larger consumption Dell is an equal opportunity employer.
