As an HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing tactical HR support to all employees and management through effective organizational design and execution of HR strategy across all functions of the business unit. Additionally, you will oversee recruitment, employee development, employee relations, policy interpretation, compensation administration and legal compliance. HR Business Partner is responsible for the complete HR service/value chain for the Business Unit.

In this role you will be part of a global team, giving you exposure to individuals all over the world. This adds a complex but fun aspect to the position – giving you the opportunity to inspire groups within the company to focus more on driving business success and generating fresh ideas.


Manage the coordination and execution of workforce planning for the organization through business unit HR teams.
Manage the salary administration (total cash compensation).
Oversee the annual merit review cycle as well as periodic reviews of equity and promotions.
Provide counsel to management on organizational design to meet business objectives.
Oversee the recruitment process including assisting managers in developing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, generating offers including compensation recommendations; managing new hire processes and onboarding.
Organize and implement training/development programs with your assigned business unit that meet the goals and objectives of the team/individual.
Assess, develop and facilitate training sessions including Harassment Avoidance and Diversity Awareness, Employee Development and other HR topics.
Coaching leaders on employee performance
Utilize the performance, talent and succession planning management systems to help drive the achievement of company goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration, and talent development.
Provide employee relations guidance and counsel to management and employees.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations and Nestlé policies.
Conduct investigations of misconduct when required.
Responsibility over IS/IT employees located in the following offices: Stamford CT, Solon OH, Arlington VA, and Toronto, ON (Canada).
Ability to travel 15%.
International Travel required (office location in Toronto, Ontario)

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Experience (Years/Type):

5 or more years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Specialist role in a corporate environment; such as employee relations, performance management, or organizational design.
Knowledge of state and federal employment law, compensation practices, benefit programs, and recruitment processes
Knowledge of state and federal employment law, compensation practices, benefit programs, and recruitment processes
Demonstrated experience delivering training is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in people leadership or coaching/developing employees preferred.
