Overview:  Lucas Group has been engaged to identify candidates for a Human Resources Business Partner opportunity on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer in Columbus, GA. Ideal candidates should have 5-7 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should also be hands-on and innovative; possessing a strong ability to build relationships with and influence others. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the business to align human resources programs with business goals
  • Driving the HR strategy for talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation, and workforce planning
  • Supporting positive employee relations and promoting employee engagement and retention
  • Leading and influencing the talent review process
  • Utilizing continuous improvement to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HRprocesses
  • Consulting with business leaders on employment law and regulatory compliance

Role Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of progressive HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degreerequired; Master’s preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex employee relations issues within a matrixed organization
  • PHR/SHRM-CP strongly preferred
