Overview

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for an HR Business Partner to join our organization. In this role, the individual will be part of the HR Americas Field organization and will work closelywith the Management team and their staff, which are mainly sales and service focused. The North American Business Partner team reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources for the Americas and covers a territory that expands across all of the United States and Canada, which includes approximately 750 employees.

 

The position is located in Milford, MA. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Partner involved in all aspects of the business, and specifically in those projects that drive change or require deep HR knowledge and skills. You will be the HR expert that the business relies on to make critical decisions that will have true impact both short and longterm
  • Acts as single point of contact to internal customers, both management and employees
  • Work closely with the Americas and Global HR teams, to implement sustainable HR initiatives like Employee Engagement, Reward Management, Change Management and Talent Managementto build a desirable work environment
  • Understand and translate business requirements into overall HR (global) initiatives
  • Lead the change management initiatives and manage the HR related internal and external communication
  • Identify and assist in the creation of development plans for key employees and high potentialemployees
  • In partnership with management, provoke and drive positive change in performance improvement and management
  • Working with the business, identify and drive organizational design and development
  • Use HR and Business metrics to analyze and build business cases to support change and talent management initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Experience working in an HR Business Partner position for 5+ years
  • Prior experience supporting Field Sales, Service Organizations desired
  • Good understanding of HR business processes and employment laws
  • Experience with change management initiatives, workforce planning, transformation and SAP HR Modules desired
  • 10% planned travel for this position to different field offices and major meetings (yearly, quarterly, etc)
